Welcome to the Garden
Payson Community Garden in Payson, Arizona began as an interfaith venture to provide individual gardens for people to grow organic produce for their own use and to support local the area food banks with donations of fresh produce.
The Payson Community Garden was organized in February 2012 through the cooperative efforts of the Payson First Church of the Nazarene and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The Payson First Church of the Nazarene donated usage of its land while the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints supervised the construction project.
Payson Community Garden provides education and resources to our gardeners as well as the community. Each spring, we offer free public classes that teach how to garden in the Payson area. We provide a safe environment where gardeners can meet other gardeners, share ideas and help the community. We use no chemicals or pesticides – just safe, organic methods for bug, weed and disease control.
Come visit us at the garden at 300 E Tyler Parkway and join us in our service to the community.
